Wanna make friends with foreign exchange students? Are you still searching for that perfect place, which provides the best atmosphere for learning English? Are you an open-minded person who wants to learn more about diverse cultures at Shih Hsin University? If you are, the place you are looking for is the ENGLISH CORNER!


“Cozy” and “comfy” are two common adjectives that describe students’ first impressions of the English Corner. We provide a variety of magazines for students to read whenever they want. Furthermore, if you are a student who likes watching movies, then you must come to English Corner. We have a wide variety of films for you to choose from. Comedies, thrillers, romance and sci-fi movies are available to everyone in our all-you-can-watch studio buffet.




Each semester, we have a welcome party for students to get to know the new faces. Additionally, whenever a significant Western holiday occurs, such as Halloween or Christmas we always have a celebration. You will never regret taking part in these fun activities.



Not only do we have amazing events such as the Welcome Party, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Christmas Party for students who want to improve their English in a fun way, but all of this is done with native English speakers.

If you want to make progress in speaking and listening comprehension, then our exchange students are definitely your best option. After one semester, you WILL improve a lot and be challenged to speak English outside of the Corner.

Never say it is too late to learn English, and just remember that the sky is your limit. If you think, “Oh, I am too shy!” or,” Oh, my English is not very good,” don’t worry about it. Come and visit the friendly English Corner to improve and perfect your English abilities and make some foreign friends to help fulfill your college life.
